Dee Rooney
Dee Rooney is a seasoned Portfolio Manager who builds Equity, Fixed Income and Balanced ETF portfolios appropriate to investors’ objectives. She is an advocate of evidence based investing and uses quantamental methods to drive portfolio returns to ensure investors have the right asset allocation at the right time
Dee graduated from Stirling University with a Masters degree in Investment Analysis in 1994 and was awarded the designation Chartered Financial Analyst one year later. She began her career in financial services at Royal and Sun Alliance as a Portfolio Manager and later 'crossed the street' to identify arbitrage opportunities in global equity markets for hedge funds and proprietary traders.
For the past 19 years, Dee has worked as a self employed consultant to focus on the needs of individual investors and has developed various models to assist with this endeavour. She has in-depth knowledge of FX and Index trading and is a competent MT4 programmer.
